This charming two-bedroom beachfront cottage sits on a rare gulf-to-bay property, giving you water views, breezes, and beach access on both sides of your island world.

Out back, you’ve got your own slice of sandy bay shoreline and a private dock — perfect for fishing, sunrise coffee, or easing out for a sunset cruise. Out front? That’s pure Gulf magic — white sand, rolling waves, and sunsets that’ll have you checking your phone to make sure it’s real.

The approach to the cottage feels like walking into secret Old Florida — seagrapes arching overhead, frangipani blooms, papaya trees, and key limes growing right in the yard. Tucked away near the south end of the island by Little Gasparilla Pass, you get privacy, quiet, and fast access to some of the best fishing water around.

Inside, the home is cozy, comfortable, and full of character — with dramatic Gulf views from the living room, dining room, and kitchen.

Sleeping arrangements:

• Master bedroom — King bed with brand-new mattress + private balcony overlooking the backyard and bay (hello sunrise coffee spot)

• Second bedroom — Two twin beds

• Sleeping loft — Available but accessed by a very steep ladder (not suitable for small kids or mobility limitations)

• Living room sofa sleeper

The living and dining areas feature shutters (great for turtle nesting season light control) and sliding doors that open to the covered porch — meaning you can go from cozy privacy to full sunset mode in seconds.

The kitchen is simple and functional (no dishwasher), but fully stocked for cooking anything from pancake breakfasts to fresh catch dinners. Dining table seats six.

Downstairs you’ll find:

• Washer & dryer in storage shed

• Outdoor shower (post-beach, post-dock, post-boat rinse-off perfection)

Owners also share the island love — you’re welcome to use their kayaks and canoe (waiver required, life jackets provided).

Important Island Notes:

• This home is not on golf cart pathways, so carts are not available here

• Bay currents near the south end can be strong — small children need supervision on the private bay beach

• Manatee sightings are common (the slow, chunky locals)

The Gulf beach is just a short sandy path through the dunes, with chairs and umbrella ready for you.
