Basic (1 shown)Old-World Island Soul Meets Barefoot Gulf Living
Coconut Hideaway is one of those places that just feels like the islands the second you walk in. This charming Caribbean-style beachfront home brings big character, warm history, and laid-back Little Gasparilla vibes together in the best possible way.
Inside, you’re welcomed by soaring 17-foot ceilings, rich cedar paneling, and beautiful hardwood floors that glow in the Florida sunshine. The home is filled with personality — stained glass lamps, a piano for sunset singalongs, handmade cotton hammocks swaying in the Gulf breeze, and a lifetime collection of antiques and oriental rugs that make every room feel like a story waiting to be told.
Sleeping arrangements are cozy, unique, and perfect for island living. The main floor master offers a king bed and nearby full bath. Upstairs, a king loft bedroom gives you that breezy, open island feel. There’s also a super cozy sleeping porch with a queen bed and its own private entrance off the back porch — perfect for someone who wants a quiet little retreat. (It has its own window AC unit, while the rest of the home stays cool with central air.)
Now let’s be honest — if you’re looking for sleek, brand-new, modern everything… this probably isn’t your spot. But if you love homes with soul, history, and character, you’re going to fall in love here. The kitchen cabinets came from a circa-1900s pharmacy. The TV stand? A 19th-century wrapping table. Much of the furniture has been loved for over 100 years — and you can feel it in the best way.
The kitchen is fully stocked for real island living — stainless appliances, ice maker fridge, dishwasher, full oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, blender, coffee grinder, Keurig and drip coffee maker (because mornings matter on vacation). There’s even an ice cream maker, two crock pots, and a huge pantry stocked for big family meals. Outside you’ll find a charcoal grill and an extra drink fridge on the back porch (because island hydration is serious business).
The front screened porch is where life happens. Huge views of Little Gasparilla’s gorgeous beach, outdoor dining space, comfy hammock, chaise lounges — it’s the spot where coffee turns into beach walks, and beach walks turn into sunset cocktails.
Out back, another screened porch overlooks a lush tropical garden — perfect for quiet mornings, afternoon naps, or listening to the palms rustle in the breeze.
Coconut Hideaway isn’t just a beach house — it’s an experience. It’s old island charm, salty air, antiques with stories, and the kind of peaceful Gulf-front living that makes you slow down, breathe deep, and remember what vacation is supposed to feel like.
