Basic (1 shown)Your Cozy Perch in Island Paradise
Welcome to Bird’s Nest, your laid-back Little Gasparilla Island hideaway perched high on pilings and full of breezy island charm. Perfect for couples, small families, or anyone craving a peaceful coastal reset, this cozy retreat lets you slow down, unplug, and soak up true Old Florida island life.
Traveling with a bigger crew? Pair Bird’s Nest with our sister property, Bay Watch, and host up to 13 guests while keeping everyone close — but still in their own slice of paradise.
Start your mornings on the upper observation deck with coffee and bay views, watch pelicans glide by, and feel those steady island breezes. When you’re ready for sand between your toes, it’s just a short stroll to the beach for sunset shows, shell hunting, and dolphin spotting.

About Little Gasparilla Island
Nestled between Sarasota and Fort Myers, Little Gasparilla Island is one of Florida’s last bridgeless barrier islands. No paved roads. No crowds. No big-box anything. Just sandy trails, sea grapes, tropical breezes, quiet beaches, and sunsets that stop you in your tracks. Spend your days fishing, shelling, bird watching, kayaking, or doing absolutely nothing at all.
Bird’s Nest is where you come to slow down, breathe deep, and remember what island life is supposed to feel like.
